MOBC is a Southern Baptist church dedicated to sound biblical doctrine, verse by verse Bible teaching, discipleship, evangelism, and ministry that serves the community and all of St. Johns County. All of this is founded upon a strong prayer life of each of our members! Prayer is the air we breathe at Mt. Olive Baptist Church and sustains everything we do here.

1 / Sunday School
Starting Easter Sunday, April 5, children will now be having their own Sunday School during regular Bible Study time, starting at 9:30 AM. We offer two age groups: Kindergarten through third grade and fourth grade and up. Parents, while you’re bringing your kids to Sunday School, why not stay for fellowship and Bible study in the adult group as well?
While we encourage all children over pre-school age to sit with parents during worship service, we DO offer a nursery during worship service for parents who wish to take advantage of the service. Background checks are run on all nursery and Sunday School teachers and they are spiritually and morally vetted!
2 / EQUIP (Wednesday Discipleship Training)
Beginning Wednesday, April 1 2026, come join our discipleship training that we call EQUIP, starting at 6:30 PM. The Bible calls us to make disciples…and that involves equipping the saints for ministry (Ephesians 4:11-12). For our first study, we’ll be going through ‘See For Yourself: How to Study Your Bible with Confidence and Joy’ by Jimmy and Kelly Needham.
